This award recognises the work of an outstanding compliance influencer who has successfully promoted the value and importance of compliance within their organisation and/or to the wider industry. This is an individual that helps to shape and drive the compliance conversation, either through their public speaking, campaigning, mentoring, writing, social media activities or pro bono work.

The recipient of this award could be an individual working within an organisation who demonstrates a wider passion to compliance outside of their day job. Or this might be somebody who works within the wider community either as a service provider or thought leader, who shares best practice within their network with the intention to improve standards across the sector. Judges will be looking for a passionate individual that can evidence outcomes and impact achieved as a result of their work.

Eligibility

  • This category is open to all stakeholders working in the field of compliance and financial crime prevention.
  • Entries can be submitted directly by the compliance influencer – or by a colleague, stakeholder or manager as relevant.
  • Entries must demonstrate evidence from the last 6-12 months, up to the awards entry deadline. 
  • We welcome entries recognising individuals working for businesses within Europe.

Spirit

  • Please describe your drivers, objectives in promoting the compliance agenda; what impact did you hope to make within the sector.
  • What is the context within which you do this work, how does this relate to your experience or career in compliance and/or financial crime prevention.
  • The judges would be interested in any specific objectives that you set yourself over the last 6-12 months that would provide useful context to your submission.

Approach

  • What campaigns or specific work has led to your success in the last 6-12 months?
  • Please share details of the platforms that you have used to spread your message and how you approached this to maximise exposure.
  • In what ways have you been innovative and creative in the ways you have approached this work over the last 6-12 months, which has helped you drive better results.

Outcome

  • What impact have you had in terms of reach or outcomes from your work – please share relevant details including: social media impressions, webinar or podcast audience stats, number of followers, the impact pro bono work has had on the organisations you’ve worked with, feedback and responses to content or campaigns etc...
  • If there has been a significant change in your reach and exposure, please share with judges the improvements made over the last 6-12 months.
  • How has your work had an impact on the wider compliance sector and contributed to future standards.
  • Please share any details of particular projects that you are proud of that demonstrate your impact as a compliance influencer.

Validation

  • Please provide up to three examples of your work that demonstrate your impact as a compliance influencer.
  • If relevant, please provide any testimonials that support your work. Please keep any testimonials to max 100 words.
