start your entryThis award recognises an outstanding initiative driving innovation in anti-money laundering (AML) led by an internal financial crime team. The project team will have demonstrated a proactive and cutting-edge approach to staying abreast of the fast-evolving landscape of AML regulations. Initiatives can vary in size and timescale and can include projects such as the implementation of a new technology to improve processes or the reactive work of an internal team to a specific investigation or change in regulation.
Judges will be looking for initiatives that have involved collaboration between multiple stakeholders, whether internal or external partners, and will give particular consideration to measures of success and improvement. The initiative will have delivered positive outcomes, processes must show scalability and adaptability to other parts of the business or the wider industry.
Eligibility
- This award is open to all internal financial crime prevention teams working in a highly regulated business inside or outside of the financial services sector.
- Entries must demonstrate evidence from the last 12-18 months, up to the awards entry deadline.
- Entries that do not address the entry criteria in detail will not be considered.
- We welcome entries from teams operating within Europe.
