Melvyn leads the Conduct and Compliance Monitoring function at Sainsbury’s Bank and has worked within financial services for over 20 years in a range of regulatory, retail banking, life and pensions and wealth management roles. Before joining Sainsbury’s Bank, Melvyn worked at the Financial Conduct Authority supervising some of the UK’s largest retails banks and wealth management firms. Melvyn also held a range of risk and compliance management roles at Lloyds Banking Group and holds the ICA Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention  

Melvyn lives in Edinburgh, enjoys getting on the bike and running around after his two young children.
