Johanna Maria Leiner – Vice President Compliance Governance & Ethics

Johanna joined the ICA as a member for the Technical Advisory Board in 2017 and is now a member of the ICA Global Practitioner Advisory Board.

After obtaining her law degree from the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and studying at UCD School of Law in Dublin (Ireland), Johanna worked at the Financial Market Authority (FMA) in Liechtenstein and Austria.

Johanna is a strong advocate for Diversity & Inclusion and has organised several networking events and penal discussions for women in Fintech. She is an official Ambassador for the European Women in Payment Network (EWPN) and the Fintech Ladies.  In 2019, she received the EWPN Award “Positive Troublemaker” for her work in gender equality and ethics.

Today Johanna role is Vice President Compliance Governance & Ethics at Paysafe where she is responsible for Compliance Training, Policy, Compliance M&A Integration and Audit Management, Compliance Risk Assessments and Conduct and Ethics.
