Gaston is the Director of Client Due Diligence and Financial Crime Learning for Standard Chartered Bank. Gaston has over 20 years experience in Learning & Development, having previously worked at RBS and Barclays, as well as experience working with organisations in Insurance, Pharmaceutical and Public sectors.

In his current role he manages the CDD Learning Programme for Standard Chartered’s Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking segment, as well as delivering a number of other pan-bank financial crime compliance learning and awareness programmes, working with senior management, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure execution of the Bank’s learning strategy.

Gaston holds a Masters Degree in Instructional Design & Technology and is passionate about the use of creative and innovative learning design in corporate learning programmes.
