Baptiste Forestier is currently Chief Compliance Officer at LinkCy, a new player in embedded finance with international ambitions. After completing his degree in Business and Banking law, he began his career as Head of KYC & Operational Compliance at Lemon Way, a payment specialist for marketplaces. In 2019, he joined Spendesk, now the 26th French unicorn, as Head of Compliance. There, he obtained a payment institution license from the ACPR (French regulator) and adapted the legal framework for the US market. He also recently started a newsletter explaining old and new money laundering techniques each week and a podcast (The Laudromat) dedicated to Compliance professionals.
