This award recognises an outstanding individual in the consulting, legal and advisory community who provides exceptional guidance to Clients on compliance matters – and is an exceptional member of the team or firm. The nominee will be recognised as a trustworthy partner who has excelled in their role to mitigate risks, manage change and protect Client interests.

Judges will be looking for a specific example(s) of this individual works with Clients on complex regulatory change projects or the implementation of new compliance programmes, going above and beyond to deliver specific and measurable, successful outcomes. The recipient of this award will be recognised as a compliance thought-leader and exemplary leader within their firm. 

Eligibility

  • This award is open to Law Firms, Consultancies and other Advisory Firms. 
  • Entries for this award must be nominated by a Manager, Stakeholder or Colleague – or where appropriate, a Client. 
  • Self-nominations will not be accepted - please seek a nominator. 
  • Entries must demonstrate evidence from the last 12-18 months, up to the awards entry deadline.  
  • We welcome entries recognising individuals working for businesses within Europe 

Spirit

  • Please describe the career or role progression over the last 12-18 months for this individual. 
  • In what ways has this individual supported a Client or multiple Clients to meet their business objectives over this period? 
  • Have there been any specific challenges that the firm has faced, that would provide any additional context for the environment within which this individual has been operating in, over the judging period?  
  • What were the drivers behind the individual’s success, why was this year in particular a highlight for their career? 

Approach

  • Please provide relevant detail to support your entry including: 
  • In what ways did the individual surpass expectations over the last 12-18 months – both internally, within the advisory firm and externally, with Clients? 
  • What behaviour change has occurred, or new skills development, or new competencies that have been beneficial for the business and/or Clients?  
  • What is the leadership style of this individual, how do they build trust with their colleagues and external Clients? 
  • How does this individual motivate and inspire others?  

Outcome

  • What has been the impact of this individual for the team, firm and/or Client? 
  • How has this individual reduced risk, delivered value, or unlocked opportunity? 
  • Are there any specific achievements that you would like to highlight? 
  • The judges would be interested in any information that would help show why this is individual is an exemplary role model for others in the team.  

Endorsement

  • Please provide up to three testimonials in support of the nomination from colleagues, internal business partners or wider stakeholders who can validate the success and contribution of the individual in the last 12-18 months.  
  • Preferably this will include one Client as a minimum. Please keep each testimonial to a max of 100 words.
