Alison is Head of Professional Capability for NatWest Group Plc and has a broad remit covering apprenticeships, professional qualifications policy and professional standards.  

Alison is an advocate of apprenticeship programmes as a means of developing professional capability and is chair of the Risk & Compliance Trailblazer working closely with other financial services employers and the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in England on apprenticeship standards.   

Alison has worked in financial services for over 30 years, is a Chartered Banker and a member of the International Compliance Association Training Advisory Board.
